Fuel Total Systems Kentucky Corporation (formerly known as FTS California Corporation) was established in Lathrop, CA in 2001 and began producing fuel tanks for Toyota Corolla and Tacoma in 2003. In 2004, the CA plant sent the first shipment of tanks to their customer.

Expansion of FTSKY and the construction of a new site in Lebanon, KY began in 2008. The building was completed in October of 2010, and less than one year later in August 2011, the first shipment of Corolla Tanks were delivered to TMMS (Toyota Motor manufacturing). Mass production of the Corolla fuel filler pipes began in July 2013, with shipments being made to TMMS (Toyota Motor manufacturing). and TMMC (Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada). ISO 14001 certification was achieved in October 2013 at the Kentucky location. In July 2017, FTSKY sent their first shipment of Toyota Camry fuel tanks and fuel filler pipes to TMMK (Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky). In the spring of 2018, shipments to TMMK (Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky). increased with the addition of fuel tank and fuel filler pipe business for Toyota Avalon and Lexus ES.

Fuel Total Systems Tennessee, LLC is our newest North American expansion project that was completed in 2019. The FTSTN Team was very excited to make their first shipment of Toyota Corolla fuel tanks to TMMMS (Toyota Motor Manufacturing Mississippi) in March 2020.
